Russia is already modifying thier "objectives", and the reality is, the only way Putin can really achieve victory is by commiting war crimes, wantonly killing civilians, chemical attacks, and possibly nukes. If that happens, the "smart" guy will have completely annihilating circumstances brought to his country...

Everyone thought Ukraine was going to roll over and Putin would march into Kyiv. The German ambassador was prepared to speak with the Russian delegate "within hours" of the invasion beginning, no one had any confidence in their ability to hold.

Everyone also overestimated the Russian military. It was just assumed they were easily the 2nd strongest military before this started, but they have looked absolutely amateur. Whatever Putin's original calculations were, they were wildly wrong. Maybe even he didn't know the full incompetence of his countries' military?

I hate to break it to people, but there aren't any good guys. There are no good governments. It's just the people versus the man.

It's very possible that Biden, Putin, Trump, Zelensky and any other leader you want to throw in are all a bunch of corrupt assholes.

I do pay attention to what Putin says. Just because people should. I think it's bizarre to not even be aware of what he's telling his people and dismiss it as propaganda.

You can listen to their news, you can listen to our news and choose who to believe. In the end they are all spinning their own bullshit brand of propaganda. Meanwhile real people seem to be suffering.
