A big part of the issue with discussions like this is that people get caught up on words like "demon" or "God" and they get stuck on their preconceived notions of such things that come from childhood and fairy-tales, instead of the bigger picture and concepts that are actually being contemplated. Most people aren't capable of having a discussion on metaphysics because their ego doesn't allow them to start from the premise that they aren't even able to comprehend how much they don't know, let alone acknowledge it.

Talked to my therapist about it today, he gave the generic therapist answer that it’s my subconscious working through issues. It does make sense, not to go into too much detail but me and the partner can’t inherit her family’s land if we’re together, so it could absolutely be that

My family and I (Missus, kids, all of us) went through something similar several years ago. Many strange experiences. And it ramped up big time when my wife became a Christian. I could list the experiences here, but this isn't exactly the forum. I could PM you if you are interested.
