That sounds weird as hell? Don't want details. Just saying.

Has to do with Hawaiian home lands and blood quantum. Think of it like Native American Rez land being limited to people with 50% of native blood. We could get it but can’t pass it down so it’d go to a cousin instead of us

Ah....that's understandable. I was thinking it was somehow personal.

Brother in law takes it somewhat personal haha, and of course I feel for my girl because she had to make the choice between me or her family’s land. Hopefully the blood quantum gets changed soon because it is unreasonable as there just isn’t that much Hawaiian blood left

It wasn't clear to me from your initial post about this, but is your partner also experiencing these things? Or is it only you (and your pooch)?

She hadn’t told me about it before I brought it up but apparently she has been dealing with similar things the last few months, which goes against my whole hoping it’s a subconscious thing

If there’s books and paintings flying around the house in the middle of the night, how did you two not both know about each other having the same experiences until you brought it up.

Genuine question, not trying to troll or catch you in a lie since I believe you. Just curious.

Do you have a carbon monoxide detector (if you have a gas stove or something like that)? I'm pretty sure a carbon monoxide leak can cause hallucinations, among other symptoms.

I was being 100% serious...I had an Aunt who was having a similar experience many years ago, and drugs were the root cause of it...

Humans are only able to perceive a very minuscule portion of reality with our limited senses. Think about your sense of smell compared to a dog, as a simple example. Or our vision. The visible spectrum to the human eye is a tiny fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is effectively infinite. Relatively speaking, we know and sense nothing of the larger universe. Our sense of "reality" is almost indescribably limited.

So yes, there are things that exist in the universe that we can't even sense under normal circumstances, let alone understand.

set up some cameras. There's cheap cloud cameras on amazon. If it captures a book falling on its own, youll be the absolute first of over 5 billion people with a camera to have evidence of afterlife.

Or, more likely, youll capture nothing and realize its in your head.

In an era where everyone has a high quality camera within reach at all times, there's no reason extraordinary claims cant have extraordinary evidence.

is that from paranormal activity? Great movie. If ghosts were real, that kind of thing would have happened for real by now.

We'd also have evidence of UFO's if those were real.

And still not one iota of evidence that there is a god. The god theory is the most researched of all time with the least evidence of all time.

I agree with the ghosts and God things.....not so much with the UFO's.

If superior intelligences that possess the technology to travel at the speed of light, or some other interstellar way, then they most certainly have the ability to avoid detection from a civilization that has only discovered the ability to look past it's own solar system in the past 100 years.

Heres how i look at that. We dont know what percentage of planets have life, but its probably small. And a much smaller percentage that have intelligent life. And an even smaller percentage that have intelligence far greater than ours. Even our planet was full of dumb ass dinosaurs for 50 million years.

So, while there are trillions and trillions of planets and plenty of intelligent life out there, they are likely so far away that to reach here would take millions of years traveling at the speed of light. Doesnt seem plausible or worth the trip. I dont see the purpose of an intelligent species being here and just spending every day hiding from us.

I don't think the speed of light does it though right? Aren't most potential inhabitable places many, many light years away from us? It would more likely require what you termed as "some other interstellar way". Totally with you on ghosts and God. For the feeble minded.
