Aside from Melo in '11, recent trade deadlines have been a complete yawnfest - unless you consider moving guys like Nene, Anthony Morrow, and Gerald Wallace to be "breaking news." Too many pussy GMs afraid to pull the trigger.

Rudy Gay was traded last year however it was before the deadline (1/30/13).
Deng was traded this year in January.

I think smart GMs get moves done before their backs are against the wall
