I made an account on MCS to see if anyone knew what was going on, but an admin never activated my account.

One of the admins asked if he should activate you, but when he heard that you were one of the most far-right posters here, he deleted your account.

On Saturday I swallowed my pride and logged into MCS, a mod or admin there was decent enough to share FPL's email and he was very helpful. He hadn't known it was down. The site had to be downgraded to be restored but at some point more features/themes can be added.

But we back!

I almost joined MCS. Glad I didn’t.

I’m kinda curious to see what goes on over there but I’m not trying to be apart of that group.

If it wasn't for MCS we might not be here now, certainly not yet, so it's hard for me to be too hard on them. But with that being said, they are surprisingly mean and aggressive, I was trying to be on my best behavior over there so that they wouldn't ban me before we could resolve these issues. However they did manage to provoke me into revealing my anti-vax power level.

I actually joined MCS in 2016 and it honestly wasn’t that bad but stopped cause there’s like 1-2 posters online maximum at any given time. This was before Trump was elected so that may have done a number on them since then. So when AG went down I went to login but it said I was banned for inactivity so registered again knowing it was a long shot they’d approve me (which they didn’t)

This whole ordeal shows us we need a backup though. We need some sort of email database where we can connect if the board ever goes away for good. People can just create throwaways if they are worried about personal info.

Years ago MCS rejected me so I tried to sneak in with a fake username that they might accept. I had completely forgotten about it until I went to the site this week and it was saved in autofill. Username:

I guess I also don't understand why they're even a thing in the first place, considering we all came from the same closed forum. It's been seven years, why keep the divide? And as one mentioned here already there's usually only like 3-4 active users on. Even Insidehoops is more active, and they've been around longer.
