I listened to the whole thing (after posting this)LookAway wrote:I didn't listen, it's too long. Is there a readers digest version?
Probably didn’t break the law I guess, but just babbled and cried about insane conspiracy theories. Georgia Secretary of State meekly tries to tell trump that they’ve investigated all those and they’re false, but trump just talks over him and moves to the next conspiracy theory. And then back to that one. And then accuses Georgia Secretary of State of being a criminal, and he just takes it like a bitch.
Trump is trying to convince the Secretary of State to just admit to any small number of the conspiracy theories that would give trump just enough votes to win Georgia. He says Secretary of State can just tell Georgia that he’s recalculated and trump actually won

You’re still pretending we never “get him” when he just got blown the fuck out in the election and lost 54 court cases since?Havlicekstealsit wrote:THIS time they got him for sure!

Trumps jealousy of Fauci always cracks me up
“Something how Dr Fauci is revered by the lamestream media as such a great professional, having done, they say, such an incredible job, yet he works for me and the Trump Administration, and I am in no way given any credit for my work,” Mr Trump tweeted on Sunday.

Nobody is seriously thinking Trump is going to prison. Not even Madnesss.
But it's probably time for even some of Trump's biggest fans to call him out for being a whiny bitch at this point.

Biden should literally be in prison right now, along with Hillary and Obama. All are career, do-nothing politicians that are proven treasonous traitors to the country.

Trump still won. He was still President, may become President again, likely set himself up to become more wealthy than ever after leaving office, became the most famous person on the planet, wrote and instituted policies which permanently changed the United States and globe, and dominates op and many others minds. So this whole idea that because they stole a second term from him, now he's a loser fit to be mocked, is just a big cope. Trump won and will go on to still be the most talked about and influential person on planet earth with more wealth and power than (almost) ever.

Nope. He lost to Joe Biden. Completely destroys his image and brand. He lost bigly. He lost red states. And if dems take the senate, they can in one week undo every policy trump instituted.kobeunderbite wrote:Trump still won. He was also impeached. And half a million Americans died of covid under his watch because he mocked mask wearing.
Not a great legacy

Losing to a career loser (BIden) did hurt Trump's brand.
But he shifted deftly and has gone "all in" on the the election was rigged controversy. He doesn't apologize. He doesn't acknowledge defeat. And he does it with conviction, arrogance and the flair of an entertainer. Rinse. Repeat.
That's the Trump brand. It's why he's popular. Some people will fall for it every time. In the past, others grew tired of it as he teetered into "joke" status in some ways. But in the end, it has worked. He's widely successful and immeasurably wealthy. Good for him.
I don't know what's in it for most others though.

They can never undo most if not all of what he did. Even with a slim majority of 1 they won't be able to come close.
And no, being a 1-term President is not somehow worse than never being President.
And they can kick Trump out of the White House maybe, but clearly he will always have permanent residence in your mind.

Being a one-termer who lost the popular vote twice, was impeached, tried to steal reelection fraudulently, and shit the bed on covid costing half a million lives is worse than never being president and having the ability to say “I would have done great”.

It'll be an interesting watch to see how Trump's presidency is regarded the further we are away from it.
On a much smaller scale, but with some similarities, a significant share of Minnesotans sorta dismiss the Jesse Ventura era — in large part because they're a little embarrassed they voted for the guy based on not much more than his cult of personality.
Trump is so much more popular and so much more important and so much more polarizing... so the drama about how "terrible" or how "great" he was should have more staying power for awhile. A lot of it might depend on where we go as a nation and people in the next 10, 20 or 30 years.
