The way the season played out for the buccaneers and patriots is a very bad look for him, and sort of nullifies any credit he’d received for past accomplishments

It's a tough spot for the Pats because he's also essentially the team's GM. Going from Brady to Scam Newton didn't help matters, and the upcoming FA class isn't all that outside Dak. Their pass D is still solid but everything else needs an upgrade.
