There are unemployment benefits for people who are unemployed. Some of them, like Artman, have been earning more off that they they would be earning at work. Others are working under the table while collecting unemployment.

The stimulus is meant to stimulate. $1200 again would have been more helpful, but this is the government you voted for. Big corporations had their best year of all time and will pay hardly any taxes on it. I’m sure their savings will “trickle down” all over your face just like you crave
