Your mind has gone to mush from debating TDK, take a few days off, you need the time to recover.
I wasn't debating TDK. I was embarrassing him, just like I embarrass you whenever I please.

Vogel might end up 16-3 in these playoffs and you still won't admit you were wrong about him. Rondo has been the best Lakers reserve and guard and you still won't admit you were wrong about him. You have an emotional attachment to positions you take and an inability to change them with new evidence. That's evidence of a weak mind and a fragile ego.

These playoffs you had the Lakers losing to the Blazers, the Rockets and pooping yourself about Denver.

I don't need to try to embarrass you Barty. You do a great job of that all by yourself.

TDK made you look like a fool in that thread. He always does actually in any debate you have with him.

If you haven't noticed the Lakers have been able to avoid their biggest competition and have only played 2nd tier teams. Vogel and Rondo would have been exposed against championship caliber teams. And really, I have no real problem with Rondo when Lebron is out of the game, I'm not a fan of having two point guards on the floor. It's worked for the most part because of the level of competition. As for Vogel, he is a decent coach who is a good defensive coach. My biggest complaint about him is his rotations. Again, if the level competition was higher, he would have been exposed more too.

As for my predictions, I always start from a place of pessimism when I'm rooting for a team that was put together in one year and hasn't been proven in the playoffs.

As for you, you should seek help. Almost every legend on this board triggers you, (TDK, Artman, Cleve, etc), you're obviously jealous of them. It's only a message board, fool, calm the fuck down.

As for you, you should seek anger management classes. Almost every legend on this board triggers you, (TDK, Artman, Cleve, etc), you're obviously jealous of them. It's only a message board, fool, calm the fuck down.
Oh the irony Barty. One of us needs to calm down, but it isn't me.

You fellate TDK, Artie and Clevey on the regular. The class clowns.

If Bush or Abe or one of the other smart kids suggest I am wrong in a position, I take pause and think about it. You - I just chuckle.

You're not very bright, and like TDK, you have a bad case of Dunning Kruger syndrome where you think you have a level of competency that you just don't have.

Anyways, I'm done with you Barty. You aren't entertaining enough and arguing with you is a bit like hitting your head against the wall. The result never changes.

But I still will wish you a nice day. I would ask you to reflect a little, but it would be a wasted request. Cheers.

I'm the one who is upset? LOL...you started off with the name calling because I embarrassed you with my reply to your comment about the Lakers offense which is something you never rebutted. That's what you do, you lash out like a petulant child when things don't go your way. It's really sad that a man with grown kids acts the way you do.
If Bush or Abe or one of the other smart kids suggest I am wrong in a position, I take pause and think about it.

So you admittedly only think your wrong if one of the supposed "smart kids" calls you out for the stupidity. You don't take into consider the content of the post only who posts it. Now that's dumb, aligning yourself with the supposed "smart kids" of the board to make yourself feel smart. That's why you get your ass handed to you by Artman, TDK, and Cleve because you think you are smarter than them when you're not and the only way you can make yourself feel better is by hanging out with the "smart kids". You're so pathetic....LMAO.

Would a 136 offensive rating against the Washington Generals be impressive?

You really need to look up 4 things very badly Barty.

1) The Dunning Kruger Syndrom
2) Cognitive dissonance
3) Straw men arguments.
4) confirmation bias

This last post of yours is pretty much the epitome of straw men arguments.

They weren't playing the Washington Generals. They were playing the eastern conference champions who dispatched the competition in the east with only 3 losses in 3 series.

Admittedly, that team was without Bam, which would affect their defensive rating. That defensive rating was 109 this year. The worst defense in the entire NBA this year was (ironically enough) the Washington Wizard at 115. That's the worst defense in the NBA. It's been too long since I've taken a stats course in university (approximately 40 years ago), but I would venture to bet that 136 is well over 1 standard deviation away from 115 and likely pretty damn close to 2 standard deviations either side away from 110. Bush is a statistician so perhaps he can opine if he so chooses. But no matter how you slice it, 136 is a phenomenal offensive rating against any NBA team at any time. People more familiar with baskteballreference.com can probably run a test to see how many times it happened this entire season. I would be shocked if it happened more than 5% of games. Jimmy played 45 minutes and your contention that he appeared hobbled, even if it were true (which it isn't) would at most explain a few points on the defensive rating.

No Barty. You just said something stupid and I called you on it and as you always do, you double down. Just like your retarded takes on Voegel and Rondo.

You should watch the games, doofus, instead of pretending you are smart because you throw out some statistics without context. What don't you understand about being the NBA finals with a chance for the Lakers to utterly destroy the Heat's confidence by hanging 150 on the Heat when they are playing a starting 5 of Meyers Leonard, Herro, Robinson, Crowder and an injured butler. How many wide open threes did the Lakers miss? No one who watched the game would say it was a tremendous offensive performance given the circumstances. I thought you were smarter this Grizz, I guess hanging out with smart people is the only smart thing you do. No wonder TDK kicked your ass in the other thread. And BTW, imploring Bush to help you is beyond pathetic.

So I guess that means you didn't look those things up then right Barty?

I watched every minute and your squirming is actually pretty funny. Like TDK, when you get painted in a corner, you just keep doubling down. It's hilarious. I'd suggest breathing into a paper bag to try and stop the hyperventilating, although it is pretty amusing.

Success at the 3 point line is obviously taken into account in an offensive rating dummy. Think a little Barty. The 136 takes everything into account on the offensive end.

I wasn't imploring Bush to help in any way dumb dumb. He happens to be a statistician and he could put into context how big a divergence from the norm a 136 offensive rating is. I can't and I know for damn sure you can't. If it's approximately the two standard deviations away from the norm that I think it is, it would put into context just how retarded your take is.

So you're telling me you can't rebut anything I posted. You think Leonard, Herro, robinson, olynyk, an injured butler are great defenders and that their lack of defensive prowess shouldn't be taken into account when considering the Lakers offensive ratings. You're telling me the Lakers offense was near perfection when they took the most threes in NBA history and only made 1/3 of them? Think for yourself, idiot, and stop trying to be Bush lite.

It truly blows my mind that you actually believe you've even MADE an argument, let alone winning it. You are that stupid Barty, and yes, life is too short.

You're officially on ignore and you're DEFINITELY dumb enough to think it's because you're somehow winning something.

Have a nice day young man. I truly hope at some point in your life you have some type of epiphany and realize you just aren't very bright and adjust your behavior accordingly. That seems extremely unlikely.

Suit yourself, it's your nature to storm off. Honestly, it's just a message board, don't take it so seriously.

BTW, the Heat had an offensive rating of 125, do you think that was because the Heat were great offensively or too many careless fouls by the Lakers and a lackluster defensive effort by the Lakers.
