It's difficult for me to assess the late 50s/early 60s Celtic teams, so I can't comment on those guys. Maybe Jim Loscutoff, based solely off the fact that he was on that team but not in the HOF. Other than him, I guess you'd have to say it's Horry. Not that Horry is a bad player by any means, but he's got more rings than his talent garnered.

Yeah, same here. I know little about the old Minneapolis teams other than Mikan and not enough about early Celts teams.

I had Horry in mind when I started this thread as well.

Looking at that list again, based on players I actually saw play, I would have to take Rambis. Four rings is a far cry from Horry's seven, but Rambis did more with less than any player I've seen. Not much natural ability, but he had more hustle and heart than most anybody else.

Kurt Rambis, Will Perdue, and John Salley all have the same number of rings as Tim Duncan and Shaq.
