They were easily the best. You could pose them however you wanted because they bent at every joint.

There were two places I would love to play with my GI Joes and that was in my sandbox that I had as a kid as well as the Christmas tree before my dad would put the christmas lights on them. We would always get our tree and my dad would wait a day to put on the lights so me and my little brother could play with our GI Joes in the tree. Fun memory.

I had very similar memories. Used to love getting a bunch if them and placing them in strategic positions as a kid then "simulating" the battle.

I had the big ones and the little ones you showed too. Both were fun.

GI Joes were great. Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, He-Man Power Sword, TMNT were my main ones.

Crumpled blankets were the best for creating Star Wars battle scenes for me and my sister.
