People are irrationally happy about White Castle bringing sliders back to Orlando

White Castle should be called in-n-out, if you catch my drift.

But seriously, I had in-out in SD over the summer and I'd put them in the same tier as Burger King. White Castle (the "original") Sliders at least have some flavor... in-out's burger was like, what I imagine shoe leather would taste.

I made a thread a while ago during a trip to Cali about overrated In-N-Out burgers.

They are overrated, but unquestionably in a higher tier than Burger King/McD's/Wendy's/etc...

They aren't (meaningfully high quality) restaurant-tier either, but they are in the same tier as Five Guys/Culvers/Etc...

White Castle is fucking disgusting root-and-branch, and honestly are probably a tier beneath the McD's and Burger Kings of the world. Pretending White Castle is on the same tier as something like In-N-Out is completely inane and demented.

If you do choose to spice up that delicious well-done meat then I might suggest ketchup or A1 steak sauce.

White Castle doesn't taste like anything else. It doesn't taste like a burger. I'm not saying that's good or bad but it just doesn't taste like a burger. I think it's in it's own separate category. I've never had In-N-Out...looks like something I'd like when you guys post pictures, but I find it hard to believe it would live up to the hype.

For straight up fast food burgers (not 5 guys), I like Wendy's better than McDonald's or BK. I like that they put everything on a burger (ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles). I think I'm going to smash some 2 singles with cheese for lunch today. They got the 2 for $5 deal going on right now.
