Who is the biggest "waste of talent" in the history of the NBA?
For the sake of the argument, let's remove injury-stricken players like Grant Hill or tragic deaths like Len Bias.

Didn't think I'd be triggered by the first post but I'd argue he simply decided to take his talents to the lanes to join the PBA.lettherebehouse wrote:Andrew Bynum

Wiggins came to mind but you could say it's still too early.Odogg wrote:In B4 Dagger says Andrew Wiggins.
He will never be elite but he can be a serviceable role player.
Maybe that does still qualify though.

Derick Coleman is a good pick.
Vin Baker is another one.
Went from a guy who looked like he was going to put up 20/10/50% shooting for a decade, but sort of faded in Seattle and crashed entirely in Boston.
IIRC, the guy was managing a Starbucks after his career, though I think he coaches now.
Alcoholism is a difficult thing, but he was fat-fucking even before his drinking was a problem...though I'm sure there was a common linkage between them somewhere in his psyche.

Never heard of Ricky Sanchez. Is he related to Mark Sanchez?
