Behind Harper, that's for sure.

Bruce Hopper isn’t even a top 10 player in the current NL East.PhutureDynasty wrote:What?Titan18 wrote:PhutureDynasty wrote:Behind Harper, that's for sure.

Agreed. Bryce Harper is the best MLB player though.Titan18 wrote:Bruce Hopper isn’t even a top 10 player in the current NL East.PhutureDynasty wrote:What?Titan18 wrote:

I'd put Ruth and Williams ahead of him no question... after that it's debatable among a handful of guys (ie; Mantle, Mays, etc).
Overall no higher than #3 and no lower than #6-7.

Sporting News ranked him 3rd in 1998 (although with a obvious nostalgia bias).

Personally, the only players I would feel comfortable ranking over him would be Ruth, Bonds, and Mays.
With another handful being contestable either way.

Didn’t TDK rank Nolan Ryan as the best pitcher of all time?

Besides this thread is about Ty Cobb, simp... have you any thoughts on the topic at hand?
