Bird was a better Defender, better Scorer, better Rebounder and Shooter, and right-there with Magic as a Passer/Playmaker in terms of talent/ability. Larry was a stone-cold killer who told you right to your face he was gonna hit the shot on you, then went out and did it. Magic played when the WC was as weak as the EC has been the last 15 years or so. Magic lost to the Pistons and Sixers in the Finals, teams Bird had to battle before he could even think about the Finals while Magic got a virtual free-pass to the big dance every year (like LeBron's run through the weak-ass EC).

It's not all black-white simp... you need context and perspective too.
