The scene right before the NK goes to raise his sword on Bran is one of a Walker who turns his head. My guess is that was the face she took and then was able to charge the NK without sneaking past thousands of them. We have no definitive proof of that yet, but it makes more sense than her just sneaking past all of them when she barely made it out of the library a half hour beforehand with a fraction of the amount of dead.
I think you may have missed the entire point of the shot where the whitewalker captain turns his head.
The only point of that shot was to show his hair moving (as if something is coming by him rapidly), and him turning his head to see what it is.
So apparently Arya is Usain Bolt? Doubtful. Unless they explain the sequence through the show or books, we will never know.
My guess is she took that Walker over.
The walkers weren't in "attack mode", they were basically dormant. Remember the NK controls them completely, like a hive mind.
The shot was to simply give foreshadowing for what was about to happen because it immediately switches back to the face on shot.
You never liked me, probably don't like me still, but a ***** liking me aint never paid my bills
The conversation that Melisandre and Arya have ("blue eyes") would seem to potentially support the theory that she was wearing a walker face, not that I think that is what happened.

You and I differ there, but admittedly I haven't read the books yet. I liked that scene.
You think Martin's alive to finish the series?
I don't think he'll finish it. I don't think he knows how. He is a skilled writer in terms of world building but he clearly (IMO) has no idea how to bring the narrative together and satisfy all of the different character arcs and stories he's started around Westeros.
Did the showrunners tell Lyanna and Theon to compete for the most cringey "one last charge" scenes of all-time? They both looked like complete dweebs and ruined the moment for me, IMO.

They overdid the Lyanna face time IMO. Because she “told off” John Snow she became a fan favorite of feminists and soy boys, so they wrote her a bigger part for the previous episode.

Lyanna ran like Officer Doofy from Scary Movie. I was laughing out loud at that shit.
