Now there's a very real chance they may not even match last year's win total.
They started the season 2-5 but were 20-14 when Lebron went down with the groin injury. I think they were the 4 seed at the time and honestly, their record and positioning was better than I thought it would be. Lakers went 6-12 without him and it's been a mess ever since. Not sure they would have reached the 50 win plateau if he doesn't get injured but I think it's safe to assume they would have definitely won somewhere north of 45 games.

I can't even see them clawing there way back to an 8 seed now. I don't think anyone else over values this roster besides Laker fans. They have 19 games left with 9 on the road. They stink on the road. They'd likely need to go 15-4 just to hope get the 8 seed. And even that might not be enough as the Spurs and Clippers would each just need to win 10 more games to get to 45 wins. Playoffs ain't happening for the Lakers this year. That shipped sailed when he missed 18 games.
They weren't going to win all 12 games they lost without LeBron. 6 or 7 at best, depending on opponents. He's healthy now and they're still constantly losing.
According to Undies, it is now because Lonzo Ball is out... :laugh3:

Of course not, but even if he never missed any time and they just went .500 during that 18 game stretch they would have been 29-23 and the chemistry wouldn't have been thrown off for a month. They are 4-7 since he's been back with 8 of those 11 games on the road....the lost 6 of the 8 road games. It was always going to be a tough road to make the playoffs in the West. Like I said earlier, Laker fans might have been thinking a 2, 3 or 4 seed prior to the season but most everyone else was thinking they'd be fighting tooth and nail just to make the playoffs.

So true...much like some Vikings fans that write off their team when they are still mathematically alive... :suds:

He does have more of an effect on wins and losses than LeBron
No doubt...This team would easily be WCF bound if he were playing... :booker:

LOL. If the Vikings were as successful as the Lakers were I might be optimistic every season. I picked them to go 8-8 last season, and almost hit it spot on. Now if you really want to talk about closer to home, we can talk about the Stars. I still have this feeling they will not get into the playoffs.

There's a lot of truth to that. He's the heart & soul of the team.

Undisputed's latest spin/rumor is that Lonzo's faking his injury to protect daddy's brand.

He is trying to get Luke fired too. Seems the Lonzo and Lebron crews both want Luke gone

Lebron and Lonzo's injuries are what ultimately doomed our season. Most teams don't overcome their two best players missing a combined 40+ games to make the postseason.

Next year after adding Klay to a healthy Zo and Bron while Ingram transitions into a bonafide superstar, we got the West on lock. I ain't even trippin.

Next season Kuzma and Ingram will be gone. They’ll be making the All star game for another team

Gone for who?

Melo, Derrick Rose, JR Smiff and Kyle Korver.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.
