It's been over for a while now kiddo...Once LeBron went big game hunting and tried to get rid of everyone, that was the dagger...It is pretty obvious that these guys simply aren't playing for each other anymore...

It was over once Lebron missed 15 games or whatever it was.

Orlando Magic would trade any two players on their roster for Lonzo.

I’ve maintained since the preseason they would make the playoffs, but even I have to give up on that notion.

I thought adding LeBron would push them toward 50 wins since they won 35 last year without him.

Now there's a very real chance they may not even match last year's win total.

The young core had been improving by 9 games a season. Had they just kept Randle and the rest of last years team they would have won 41 at least.

They started the season 2-5 but were 20-14 when Lebron went down with the groin injury. I think they were the 4 seed at the time and honestly, their record and positioning was better than I thought it would be. Lakers went 6-12 without him and it's been a mess ever since. Not sure they would have reached the 50 win plateau if he doesn't get injured but I think it's safe to assume they would have definitely won somewhere north of 45 games.

I can't even see them clawing there way back to an 8 seed now. I don't think anyone else over values this roster besides Laker fans. They have 19 games left with 9 on the road. They stink on the road. They'd likely need to go 15-4 just to hope get the 8 seed. And even that might not be enough as the Spurs and Clippers would each just need to win 10 more games to get to 45 wins. Playoffs ain't happening for the Lakers this year. That shipped sailed when he missed 18 games.

You must keep the faith. Are you Lakers fans, or pansies? Or do you only ride the Lakers bus when winning. Are the Lakers mathematically eliminated. So the Lakers faithful are going to quit just like their new hero LeBron James.

They would have slipped...they really just got some lucky breaks an easy as hell schedule and a little streak going back then..never would have help up..especially with that roster and other teams chemistry coming together
