I wish MORE black people would wear that shirt. More homage needs to be paid to white people for everything we've given the world.

Bomani Jones tried to get a reaction with this like 3 years ago on ESPN. Like 9 people talked about it for about 12 minutes on a Wednesday.

No, but it made me realize (in great shame), the double-standards we as White people hold for these types of things, in this case against American Indians.
Whoa!

It’s been around for a while. Usually black people wearing them, actual Natives Americans don’t seem to give a fuck.
Just another example of negroes desperately seeking attention from white daddy.

If they really want to make an impact, why not focus on the likely thousands of grade schools around the country that still use native names & images? T-shirts, tweets & protests aren't gonna change an NFL owner's mind. Hell, he's rich enough to buy every last one of those Caucasian shirts right off their backs.

My mascots growing up were (in order):
Grade School: Dragons
Junior High: Golden Knights
High School: Patriots, Yellowjackets, Bulldogs
Not a bad mix honestly.

Grade school: something involving green top hats - Leprechauns maybe?
Junior High: Leopards
High School: Red Raiders (with a native mascot), then Patriots (which I'm convinced started using the NE Pats "Flying Elvis" before them)

I had the following:
Grade school - Cougars
Middle school - Mustangs
High School - Lions
College - Cougars
Apparently I had a thing for big cats.

Speaking of mascots, this is one of my favorite stand up routines. Might not be too funny for you guys because there's some local humor but still.

I had the same mascot in college that I had in high school.
It was a nickname none of you have ever heard. And it was terrible.

Cool story. Would be even cooler if we knew you’d ever tell us what it was.

Realized that after I wrote it... but I'm not comfortable in revealing it. Too easy to search for our internet sleuth creeps.
