Y’all wanna do a fantasy football league again?

Talk about anything here.

I'll vote for that. Seems reasonable for 3rd to get their money back.

Next year, I'd advocate for a slightly larger buy-in ($50.00?) and only having pay-outs for 1st and 2nd.

I'd also vote to adjust the settings a bit (not complaining about them this year, as I joined late and didn't set it up).
Sounds good. What settings would you change? This is my first time as commish so still gettin a feel for the stat preferences.

I would suggest adding a 3rd WR slot-- having to play an extra guy every week gives a bigger advantage to the deepest team(s), as opposed to the team(s) riding the coattails of 2 or 3 monsters but having mediocre rosters overall.

I would also recommend changing the scoring settings from "full point PPR" to ".5 point PPR." Some people prefer standard, some prefer PPR-- this is a nice compromise, and it helps tone down the crazy impact that volume receiving RBs have. Those guys are already enormously impactful, they don't need additional statistical boosters.

Just my .02.

By the way how pissed were you that the Chiefs didn’t review the possible Mahomes sneak for a TD last night? I thought he was in for sure. That situation couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for me.

Definitely didn't love that.

It also sucked that I kept Damien Williams on my bench. The thing was, I had him in 3 leagues, and I was equal parts afraid to play/sit him. I ended up starting him over Cook in one league, Michel in another, and keeping him benched for Lamar Miller in our league.

Overall, I'll take it.

Yeah that’s a tough call.

I was extremely close to picking up Justin Jackson and starting him. He ended up with 19 I believe which irks me. Ended up going with Doug Martin vs the Bengals swiss cheese defense.

Either way fuck you Melvin Gordon for forcing me to make this decision lol

Benched him... any two of Beckham (oops), Samuels, Jones or Ingram.

They're all virtually ranked the same... although the Beckham injury + Ridley NE revenge + Ingram time share + Jones vs. Bears ... has me regretting my decision greatly.

Let's go Lamar Miller!

That has to be the first time I've ever said/written that.

Hurt on the first drive, lol.

I've always disliked Miller-- this won't help.

I prefer full PPR.

Instead of 3rd WR slot what about another WR/RB/TE slot?

In related news... I already have the highest score for the week (AGAIN) and Drew Brees hasn't even played yet.

Nuts + Bolts, Nuts + Bolts.

But congrats anyway, rtttfff.

Just checked and it won't let me disperse the payouts until December 26th, FYI.

Another suggestion for next year: let's try to get the league up earlier next year and expand to 12 teams with 6 in the playoffs (3 rounds instead of 2)-- this keeps more people alive late...

It’s been hard enough to get 10 people the last 2 years...I would prefer 12 and 6 playoff teams but it’s easier said than done.

Looks like I'd have had yet another great week...

Oh well.

[Note: I'm probably gonna lose my big money league title by... 1 point... depending on whether Von Miller gets a sack tomorrow night. If we tie... that would be worse. Bench points decide the winner. I forgot. So I have Aaron Jones and Odell just sitting there... and my opponent (smarter than me) picked up a bunch of QBs and Kickers to fill up his bench. Damn. That would hurt a lot more than losing by 1 point.]
