Apparently the Sacramento Kings. Dumb and Dumber outbidding themselves for Lavine and Parker. So much for having tons of cap space next summer.
The 2nd year is a team option.
That makes it considerably less risky, but its still at best a marginal signing. He's not that good and he doesn't fit.
...and you're an idiot, so there's that.

Well congratulations on the brilliant retort! I wonder why the completely inept Kings were the only team showing interest? Even Milwaukee had little interest, choosing Ilyasova over him.

The drunk thinks overpaying for an injured player was a smart move?

It's an accurate retort, idiot... you claiming he's "not that good and doesn't fit" proves it.

$20 mil in today's market for a 23-year old with Parker's talent is most certainly worth rolling the dice for 1-year, mama's boy.

If he doesn't work out he's gone, and the Bulls will STILL have $45+ mil in cap space for next season's FA crop... your Lakers, on the other hand, are trapped in no-mans-land after paying $153 mil to a middle-aged man who is going to stunt the development of the youngsters AND leave your Lakers back in the cellar when he retires.

Enjoy..!!

Second year is a team option. The deal is fine.

:L

...and you idiots wonder why TDK enjoys slapping you around so often.

Anyway, back to Parker... it's a signing that is absolutely worth the risk because if he's fully recovered Parker has elite Scoring ability (and still only 23 years old), and if he doesn't work out the Bulls simply don't pick up the second-year option... unlike the Grizz and Lakers, who will be stuck-in-mud with Conley and LeChump for yearS!

:booker:

:slapping:

Conley played like 7 games last year

Again, it's the only retort I need.

Get mad.

Precisely why idiots like grizz have no business ripping on the Bulls for signing Parker.

I don't see how you can criticize this move given year 2 is an option which preserves our $40 million in cap space for 2019. Either that $20 million was going to be paid to Melo as a buyout, distributed amongst the roster if no one was signed, or pay Jabari for 1 year.

Jabari was the best option easily.

To me it's a more of a "it doesn't really matter" move than an outright blunder.

I think most people in this thread know how this one is likely to play out.

You're right.

This is a "We will put trash on the floor because the dummies in Chicago will continue to buy tickets" move.

This is one of the worst deals I've seen the Bulls make in years.
