Precisely because I am that kind of person I would have likely complied. This isn't about what I would do in such a situation it is about what was expected of Mr. Holland in this situation.

The reality is, the black guy, much to the chagrin of the white folk in the community, was allowed to be where he was. He did nothing wrong, and was accosted and profiled simply because someone else on another day illegally entered the pool. Not his fault. And, when it was determined that he was in fact a resident, he was still kicked out.
Because he didn't appreciate being harassed for doing absolutely nothing wrong, Rob accuses him of being unruly LOL...

The reality is, the black guy was asked the same questions as the white folk in the community, and because he's black, he felt like it was necessary to act hard and not cooperate with an authority that was trying to make HIS LIVING SPACE more enjoyable. He was brash, cursing, and discourteous. The entire situation was blown out of proportion by his need for attention....as proven by him posting the incident live on social media.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Can someone please tell me why the property manager asked him to leave after he established he lived there ?
This is speculation on my part but I assume out of one hundred property managers ninety nine of them would have told Mr. Holland, after being summoned by the rent-a-cop and made aware of the situation, that there has been a rash of non-residents using the pool and they are asking people using the pool for identification. Mr. Holland and the property manager were on a first name basis so presumably they knew each other.
Mr. Holland was the tenant, was the paying customer, was where he should be so he gets the benefit of the doubt.

My beef was in why people chalked this up to a racial incident... or why people thought the cop/guard was out of line for simply doing her job... or why people are refusing to even acknowledge the guy was being a prick.
It's quite telling and a sign of deep-seeded mental deficiency in these people.
The guy was wronged. He should have been allowed to not answer the question. If those other dumb white people allowed their rights to be trampled on....so be it.
He was completely right and acted appropriately. Both the racist cop and the racist manager should be drawn and quartered. Fuck white people!
