Like I said "live out here" is such a wide parameter it's essentially meaningless.

Where in Cali?
In what county/zip?
Single or Raising a Family?
High or Low Time Preference?
What are your financial goals?
Etc...

I'm pretty sure Cali has fast food workers/retail workers/etc who are somehow able to live in the state to some degree.
No..they can't afford to live there..they commute from Nevada and Arizona every day

Yeah purchasing decades back has its perks. My in-laws bought cheap in Santa Barbara way back when and their home is worth quite a bit now.

Get bent.

How about this:

After I lose to Denali's gigantic Black tit smother in the anger general fight bracket, match me up against you as a special grudge match, and we'll settle this that way.

Deal?

Value is very subjective.. without factoring price, my neighborhood is better than yours, has better houses, is more beautiful, better weather, better restaurants, etc and houses here are only 250k....and people complain about how expensive they are lol. My house would be 1.7 mil in Cali.

I feel bad for any idiot that lives in LA who doesn't have to be there for career purposes. And you live in boring ass OC which is even worse. At least LA is fun, with beautiful mountains. OC is pure shit. You could be anywhere in the world for that money.
You live in the Podunk woods LOL...How awesome...As for the weather, please...California has the best weather in the world. I live in
Cowan Heights kid, your shoebox built between a bunch of trees simply doesn't compare...And, when I decide to California, I will hit the road with probably about 800K or more just from selling...

Your experience with Cali is skewed because your were broke as a joke and had to move to another state to make ends meet LOL...

If family issues weren't in play, and I could push a big reset button on adulthood, Texas (Dallas/Austin/San Antonio) would be infinitely more desirable to me personally than anywhere in California.

That's just me though. Others feel differently and that's what makes a market.

People pay millions to live in fake woods in Cali. Look up Hidden Hills in the San Fernando valley. 2 million for an old house. I live in a modern house in a village in a legit forest. 14 foot ceilings, large windows everywhere that dont need blinds, surrounded by thousands of 80 foot pine trees on rolling hills. 1 mile from Colorado River. 8 minutes to downtown.

My house in Encino 13 years ago cost almost half a mil and was a 1950s piece of shit bungalow. Here in Texas there's illegal Mexicans that have the same quality of life as you for the fraction of the cost. Your house in a similar neighborhood in Texas would sell for around $300k.

You live in a legit forest for cheap because people arent willing to pay for podunk...Enjoy that sweltering heat with lots of humidity in your "forest" LOL...I live in the foothills kid. I win...

Literally all celebrities live in the valley, specifically Calabasas. Orange county is for lames. If the Valley is America, OC is Canada

Oh, ok.

I'm not gonna lie...

I'm a bit disappointed that nobody mocked me for my white trash house/neighborhood/upbringing photos. All that's missing is a car up on blocks to complete the picture...

They can't mock you for that, most of this board is still white trash

Check out that dirt front yard in the neighbor's front yard from the overhead shot.

Gotta be from a couple of pit bulls running back and forth, right?
