I found it last year. He lives in a tiny side house on a dual house property with his landlord.

You remember those pictures he posted from "his front porch" of the hurricane where you can see the janky hurricane shutters? That was the front porch of his landlord's house.
You never liked me, probably don't like me still, but a ***** liking me aint never paid my bills

There is less than zero chance Artie could have moved two years ago without starting at least a hundred threads about it.

Wow.

It's almost like value is subjective or something.

#deepthoughts
Or like people lie about how much they earn here (...desirability/quantity of sexual partners, basketball skill, intelligence, fitness level, etc)

Yes, you are right.

There are absolutely no reasonable alternative explanations for why members of a conservative/alt-Rightish/skirting with racism lifestyle board would not have a particular attraction to California, or simply prefer other alternatives on net to it.

It's a real mind-bender.

Do you really think everyone *actually* wants to live in California as (literally) their number one option?

People can obviously lie about anything in an anonymous forum, but pretending everyone thinks and feels exactly like you (or Sab, or probably most of MCS) do is really, really narrow-minded.

Most of you honestly couldn’t afford to live here.

"Living there" is a pretty general statement.

Are we grinding out a living week to week in a shoebox as a single fucking white male in some barrio?

Raising a family of four, while setting aside money for college/investments/retirement/etc in San Fran?

Snorting coke off Kim Kardashian's ass in the Ritz?

I would wager even with a cost-of-living bump, a chunk of the board would not, but it's also really weird to pretend there aren't perfectly honest reasons to not want to live in Cali.

People have different preferences and place different values on different things. It's not better or worse. It's just different.

Triggered as fuck by West Coast Arrogance/Faggotry!

Not really though.

It's more of a curiosity than anything when people assume everyone thinks exactly like they do about something as full of subjectivity like geographic living preferences.

I didn’t say you’d all prefer to live out here. I said most of you couldn’t afford to and I’m absolutely correct.

Like I said "live out here" is such a wide parameter it's essentially meaningless.

Where in Cali?
In what county/zip?
Single or Raising a Family?
Roommates?
High or Low Time Preference?
What are your financial goals?
Etc...

I'm pretty sure Cali has fast food workers/retail workers/etc who are somehow able to live in the state to some degree.
