He's a god....no doubt.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

We have no shot at resigning him. As great of a week as he had, we managed to go 1-5 in that stretch. He'll break the bank when he goes to NY in free agency with one of the most ridiculous contracts you've ever seen in pro sports.

Anaheim?

Puh'lease. The jig is up, we never deserved him.

I feel the same way about Jake deGrom, greatest pitcher of his generation, who is most certainly destined for better things than the lowly Met franchise can offer:

If you don't know who Trout is you're out of touch with society.

He's the best MLB player and a household name.

Straight fax son.

Trout is probably the best athlete on the planet right now, he's playing a game that's way harder than basketball and he doesn't have huge physical advantages over the other players. What this guy has done in his career already is God-tier shit.

Evan Gattis put Trout to shame last week. Look at what he did

Gotta get him on a team that plays deep into October when casuals and people outside SoCal are most likely to see him play. We know who he is since we're all regular sports followers. But I feel like the non-baseball fan only recognizes him because he's the guy Fox shows on TV during Eagles playoff games.

I know a lot of us aren't ESPN fans but with Trout approaching 1,000 career games. That article they have on his first 1,000 game numbers is neat.

Did you just say baseball is harder than basketball? You’re an idiot. They hit a ball with a stick and then run 5 feet... most of the players just stand around eating sunflower seeds. Average baseball player’s heart rate during a game is probably around 80-90 bpm... “way harder” than basketball? Maybe way harder to stay awake...
