Abe is one of the more transparent posters here. A general cuck. Completely gullible. And undeservingly pretentious. He’s not only a cuck, he’s a prick. A pruck, if you will.
A 5-year (2001–05) review of dog attack victims admitted to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia determined that pit bull terriers were implicated in more than half of the bites where breed was identified. Of the 269 patients where breed was identified, 137 (51%) were attacked by pit bulls.

"...the overwhelming number of bites involving pit bull terriers in this study and others certainly has some degree of validity when it comes to identifying bite-prone breeds. Pit bull terriers, German shepherds, and Rottweilers were the offending breeds implicated in our study, and have accounted for the majority of dog bites according to other investigators."
What is a "pitbull type". I can't find that breed anywhere. Where are the cocker spaniels on these flawed list. Cocker Spaniels are known for their rage syndrome where they bite their owners. Doesn't usually end fatally so it wont make the list. There are a lot of breeds that fall into that category. When you clump a large group of dogs together "pitbull type", you get flawed data.
Pit Bull” is NOT a breed. It is a generic term often used to describe all dogs with similar traits and characteristics often known by the public as Pit Bulls. This article is addressed to owners of any “Pit Bull” type dog including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and Pit mixes.
You will learn here that while Pit Bulls make great family companions while in the right hands and living situation, they require intelligent, responsible and dedicated ownership. Unfortunately too many people obtain these dogs for the wrong reasons or have little understanding on the inherent traits this breed possesses. It is unfortunate that one of the original purposes of the APBT was (and still is for many) dog-to-dog combat, but it’s a fact that can’t be denied or ignored. It’s very important that every potential Pit Bull owner, understands the selective breeding that took place to make these dogs of today and the inherited characteristics that are potentially within this wonderful breed.
..now, this directly talks to the nature of the dog, and directly towards the propensity that I alluded to...and it also talks directly about the importance of having quality ownership, i.e...."intelligent, responsible and dedicated" while also pointing out that many obtain these dogs for wrong reasons and more importantly "little understanding on the inherent traits this breed possesses"...and it also explains how these dogs came about which I also pointed out previously...
..listen, I already said in my first post I get both sides, and also suggested that those who are interested in getting one should be screened...I love all dogs and have for years, and I work very well with all dogs...I'm not against people having one at all, just that many want one for the wrong reasons, which leads to bad things happening...
To bad my friend JZ is no longer around. This post was awesome related to the topic.
