I feel bad that alaskahawks is poor.

He really really wants to see his beloved Seahawks play football on Sunday. And there's an open invitation waiting for him. About 18,000 available seats for him to choose from. If only... if only he had the money to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But costs add up quickly: airfare, tickets, hotel room, face paint (maybe), food, new jersey, second new jersey, shuttle.

But hey, I'm sure the rally was cool. And we'll be here to hear him brag about Seattle winning the championship. And maybe he'll even post photos from the ensuing championship parade before/after he trounces a like-minded 7-year-old fan to get within 60 yards of his favorite players.

Yeah, isn't it more about everything that goes along with it as much (or more) than the game itself. One of the great things about sports is the anticipation and build-up to the actual games. Case in point: Why/How the NFL spends the entire year building up to the Super Bowl with around-the-clock coverage and hype.
