Kris Dunn

Post by Repeat3peat »

Kris Dunn.... 22 points seven assists, five rebounds, three steals and two triples in 26 minutes tonight.

And he's just getting his sea legs back....dude has ELITE athleticism and size for a PG and is already showing off why he was a top 5 pick with his new team/added opportunity.

He will be shitting all over Hair guy in short order @elartman1973 if he isn't ALREADY, he is so much stronger AND quicker than Paytbum it's frightening, he's got like 25 pounds of lean, quick twitch muscle on Paytbums lump shit, and is already TWICE the defender. Fact.

All signs point to LaVine picking up right where he left off as well, once back up to speed....reports are that he has lost NOTHING athletically from the injury, in fact he has INCREASED his vertical...unlike Derrick The Delicate....he will be back better than ever because he WANT'S to.

So we have a:

A 23 year old 6'4" 210 pound defensive dynamo with great athleticism and plenty of untapped offensive upside at PG....Paired with a 22 year old 6'5" Combo guard/wingman with freakish athleticism who has gotten better every year.

LaVine per 36 last 2 seasons (at the ages of 20-21 mind you):

18+ points on 46% FG.....81% FT
2+ triples a game at a HEFTY 39%
3.5 boards
3.5 assists
and a steal

Then you add in Lauri "The Finisher" Markkanen...all of 20 years old...an athletic 7 foot sharpshooter that can put in the floor and take it to the rack as well.

17+/9/2/1/1 per 36 basically....on 36% from deep and 83% from the line as a 20 YO rookie.

That trade is looking better and better as time goes by son...hated losing Jimmuh....but a trio of:

Dunn
LaVine
Markkanen
+ a possible #1 overall pick next season(likely top 3 at worst)....with a LOT of $$$ to spend

Bulls future starting NEXT year >>> The Tragics....and it's not particularly close.

lol @ the 5 year plan finna get lapped in a span of about 16 months give or take...Classic.

Lakers and Bulls showing why they have hardware in their trophy cases...and the Magics, well....don't even need a trophy case...lol

Get mad...

If you're using the Lakers and Magic as your favorite team's litmus test right now.....success might not be as close as you'd like it to be.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Its a loooong way from where i'd like it to be for certain....But the building blocks that ARE here (the few) are much better and closer/further along than I originally thought (Dunn/LM).... and the team is FINALLY actually figuring out/RECOGNIZING the "changes" in todays NBA game....and are already getting more athletic as well (LaVine).

Starting next year already, no way i would take the Magics top 3 pieces/financial situation going forward over ours....and they been on the "5 year plan"...we just started. The Lakers are waaay ahead of the Magics as well all things considered, and in "less time at it"

Basically...lol @ tits and his 5 year plan for the fun of it. Not so much a "litmus test" per say.

Time to get our tank on for a couple years....1 or 2 Big signings.

Baby steps >>> Nuetral

FTR....Man I REALLY like watching Jaylen Brown play.....he smoothes out that stroke from the FT line + the natural progression that will come with experience....kids got a chance to be special on BOTH ends of the court, REAL special IMO.

You know... Denzel Valentine has been playong pretty well too. He’s shooting 40% from three on 5 attempts per game. He had 18/6/5 last night.

He’s starting to show signs of being the Draymond Green-esque glue guy that he was supposed to be coming out college.

If the Bulls can keep tanking and land one of the top big men in the lottery (this draft class is STACKED with big men) they’d have a legit young starting 5 core.

Did GarPax just save their jobs? :noidea:

I've been saying it for a while... the Bulls have a ton of super athletic young talent, with $50+ mil in cap space next season and a great shot at the #1 pick.

Discuss how this makes you feel.
"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."

"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

Nope because we Bulls fans know that their jobs were never in jeopardy.
