Confession Time: Laker Fan Edition
I wanted Julius Randle traded for a box of sneakers and a blunt this past offseason.

He might be my favorite player on that team. Sorry Kuzma.
Re: Confession Time: Laker Fan Edition
It's a damn shame he's the 3rd big guy to enter the game. Da fuck is Walton doing?

Randle was getting under my skin last night.....which means he was playing really well. When he's focused/giving effort, he's a solid all-around player.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Every time I watch him he's giving effort. He's like a much less skilled Draymond.Robceltsfan wrote:Randle was getting under my skin last night.....which means he was playing really well. When he's focused/giving effort, he's a solid all-around player.

Jordan Clarkson should be the starting PG, with Ball coming off of the bench in spells. Magic shit the bed on this.

I never wanted him gone, but he’s not getting a max. Although if we shit the bed in free agency, then we gotta pay the man.

He's worked hard to improve and is a die hard Laker.
His strength is highly impressive, his motor is non-stop, and he's making a defensive effort. Pay him now.

Re: Confession Time: Laker Fan Edition
Every team needs an energy guy who can change a game the moment they enter. Randle seems like a guy you'd hate to play if you just "weren't feeling it" that night. More often than not, he seems to be working really hard when I watch him play.
I still think he's a bit limited in what he can do and bring when starting for a good team... but he's definitely a solid NBA player and I think a great "get shit done" guy when he's on the court.

Yeah I’m leaning towards paying him too. His defense has improved a lot, and he’s still young enough to make a reasonable leap in production.
I don’t put a lot of stock in Per 36 numbers, BUT Per 36 he’s averaging 22ppg 12ppg 3apg.

Are you just being an obtuse asshole or do you have some reason why that isn't the best course of action for the shit storm that is the Lakers?lettherebehouse wrote:swampgator wrote:Jordan Clarkson should be the starting PG, with Ball coming off of the bench in spells. Magic shit the bed on this.

I was right about Randle being a solid pro all along while that transvestite @l3bron called him a less-skilled Hakim Warrick

Is that queer House going to tell us why Clarkson shouldn't be the starting pg for the Lakers or is he just going to duck out as usual?

He’s not pass first, he’s a gunner. We don’t want him hogging the rock and taking early offense away from Ingram and Brook.
Besides, say what you want about Ball, but everyone sees the potential, and what exactly are the Lakers playing for right now? Maybe a PO spot? Better to see Lonzo develop throughout the year, we already know what we have with Clarkson.

If we're doing "Laker confessions" as a group, I want to own up to the fact that I still check in on Andrew Bynum from time to time (via a Google News search) because I'm holding out hope that the big fella makes his way back to us.

Clarkson seems to be thriving in his role as scoring guard off the bench. He looks for his shot 1st, 2nd and 3rd on almost every possession. And there's nothing really wrong with that. Teams need a go-to scorer off the bench.

I asked if the House dorkie character wanted to answer it and you showed up. Weird and pathetic all wrapped together. It makes sense though.

Not to switch gears, but I wanted ta ax you about Butler. How has he been this season? I looked up his numbers and they’re meh, and I expected them to dip playing with Towns and Wiggins, but not this much. Is he hurt? Or has he embraced more of a defense-first-stats-second type role?
