Sadly, I have come to terms with the fact that no team...
... is going to beat the Heat this year, in large part because they have THE most stacked roster in NBA history (relative to their existing competition at the time) and also since it's clear, for whatever bizzaro reason, that this is how the Basketball Gods want it.
Keep in mind this does not make me a fan. Personally, I can't stand Pat (the Rat) Riley, and I lost all respect for LeEasyWayOut and PED abuser Wade. But still... in life you sometimes have to face the reality of the fact that it is what it is.
So with that, as painful as this is for me, I will resign myself to accept the fact that the Miami Heat WILL win the 2014 NBA Championship.
...and you can take that to the bank.

I'm not sure why you are giving up on the Western Conference team beating them.
Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.

After what happened in Game 6 of the Finals last year (and the way the EC is shaping up for the Heat this year) I am convinced that no matter how strong the competition is out West, the Basketball Gods will find a way to see to it that Miami wins again this year.
I surely hope that I am dead-wrong, but I don't think so...

OP is trying for a reverse jinx. His predictions come true about once every 5 years, so he's hoping his shitty prognostication abilities will come true for this one.Bush4Ever wrote:I'm not sure why you are giving up on the Western Conference team beating them.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Reverse jinx.
As i have said ad infinitum and ad nauseum only God can see the future.
I like where the Heat are sitting.

Heat's EC opponents:
Bobcats
cRaptors
an overachieving Hawks team.
None of those teams even sniff the playoffs if they'd played in the WC.
cHeat well rested, Spurs/OKC burnt out.
Another asterisk.

I know you will be completely devastated if the Heat fail to win it all this year, won't you Mr. "Celtics" fan?

Such sadness from TDK, and such anger from TDK, all in 1 thread and we're barely on the 1st page.thedangerouskitchen wrote:l3bron wrote:Oh look, ANOTHER ****ing Heat thread from you.
