Kobe could never run amok on Leonard. Lebron with all his size got frustrated.y2ktors wrote:Yes.AtiliusRegulus wrote:would Lakers have 3 peated?

Kobe used Bowen and Jackson as toilet paper and would do the same with Leonard.

The Lakers won in 2001 by 4-0 and in 2002 by 4-1.
Does Kawhi make up that much ground? Doubtful.

If the deficit were 10+ a game I'd say doubtful but seeing that nearly every game was close like it was in 02... I'd say its probable.Odogg wrote:The Lakers won in 2001 by 4-0 and in 2002 by 4-1.

In 2001, there was no Bruce Bowen and because of injury, Antonio Daniels ended up guarding Kobe. Antonio Daniels, a former Grizz was defensively challenged and not much on the other end either. I think a prime Kawhi makes a huge difference in that series and at least makes it interesting. Lakers might still win, but it's one helluva lot more interesting.
