They struggle against true dominant post men and rebounding but that's nitpicking.

I agree. GOAT NBA team assembled.

Agreed. Fortunately for them there are not many dominant post men these days.

It's not a winning formula anymore. Teams that can come in the area code of 40% from 3 also totally open up lanes to drive.

Talent tends to be cyclical, and now it definitely favors top perimeter players. More explosive wings now than any other time in the NBA by miles.

115-PPG = no Defense = weakness.

Walk it off, old-man.

Yea true.

There's legend in Philadelphia of a young dominant big man with a 3 ball like Curry and post moves like Hakeem. He's dormant at the moment because of injury but the legend says he will be the hero to save the league from the Warriors reign. We never say his name here but we mutter a 3 word phrase in his grace...

Trust The Process

Not an argument, it's a fact... especially now that we're using your "no context allowed" rule.

I do use context. You should try it. When I put context to your "but they had 8 HOFers on that 1963 team", you ran like a bitch. That team had the worst offensive rating in the NBA, but a dominating defensive rating and won a championship.

This GSW team. Best offensive rating and a virtual tie for best defensive rating in the NBA.

That is no weaknesses, accentuated by a 15-1 playoff run and a ridiculous number of blowout wins.

I was amazed at how quickly they could just blow a game wide open. Especially when they trail for a little bit, then boom they've built a 15pt lead.

One thing I've been saying consistently for the past three years: I've never seen a team go on runs like these Warriors teams-- including the pre-Durant versions.

They know they are almost never out of a game because of that, and I think sometimes they take the pedal off the metal as a result. Any one of 3 guys can get goofy hot at any time and start huge runs.

Cavs won last year because Barnes shot it like me and Steph kind of sleep walked at key times.

Their "B" game beats virtually any other team in NBA history's "A" game over a 7 game series.

The NBA said it would open up the lanes so it's maybe some of both. Players like MJ, Drexler, Nique are just as explosive as these players.

Also it probably would prolong players careers like maybe Penny, Grant Hill, TMac, etc.

For sure there were great explosive players who could drive in prior eras. MJ is the greatest of all time at driving the lane. There are just far more of them at one time now.

83 Sixers would streamroll them.

He has been exposed as a troll and tries to call other posters out for the same. He is on record as saying AI wasn't a winning type but has used an older AI for an argument that Melo had help with him. :L

I think it's maybe the same but now you can freak out thru the lane, back then you may meet the floor. Those players back then were more fundamentally sound also.
