I really didn't watch any of his this year except in the Tourney. I don't really get the hype. He looked pretty average.

I want Lonzo to be drafted by the Lakers....and fail miserably.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I keep saying that middle child is gonna be the one who starts the whole fail thing. Dude's not even a top 100 prospect & UCLA signed 2 higher ranked guys that play his position. Once all 3 boys move out & start earning pro paychecks they're gonna cut dad off.LeBronMonsterDunk wrote:I want Lonzo, his dad and their entire family to fail so badly.

LaVar is a savvy business man, owning their own brand will pay off big-time in the long run.

He's definitely a legit prospect, albeit with some meaningful weaknesses, some of which were indeed exposed in the tourney.AlaskaHawks wrote:I really didn't watch any of his this year except in the Tourney. I don't really get the hype. He looked pretty average.
Then again, what 19 year old ball player doesn't?
He is definitely an "offense amplifier" like a Nash on Suns.
*Great* offensive instincts, minus a tendency towards passivity on occasion.
Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.

I hope Orlando somehow miracle their way to the first pick and draft this kid. The look on LaVar's face at his son being consigned to nowheresville would be priceless.

Lavar got Chino Hills coach fired because he's a helicopter parent barking instructions over the poor guys back. Imagine getting fired after going 30-3, I think 35-0 and state champs the prior season.

Re: Thanks, dad...?
He's going to regret costing his son guaranteed millions in off-court money if Lonzo blows out his knee in his very first pro game. No idea who'd want to coach that team. Not likely a public school that's not a traditional power is going to pony up a salary worth having to put up with all that fuckery over the next couple years.Havlicekstealsit wrote:Lavar got Chino Hills coach fired because he's a helicopter parent barking instructions over the poor guys back.
