Santa Barbara was probably the nicest of the bunch, but the commute made it unsustainable. But it was leaps and bounds better than Orlando, bro. Don't even bother to argue otherwise lol

5 cities. Born in Detroit, then lived in 3 other cities in the suburbs of Detroit. Now I'm in Virginia.

That's funny...I grew up a good chunk of my childhood in Schenectady.

Nice, I lived there till I was about 10.

Oh it's very overpriced, stuck up, and artsy fartsy. But it's still in a beautiful location with year round great weather and a ridiculous amount of eateries, clubs, bars.... not to mention the outdoors activities like hiking, it's right by the beach (I was a 5-10 min drive), and overall it's great. But my drive was 90 min to go to work everyday, and after awhile it wasn't worth it.

My step-grandmother lived near Rotterdam Square Mall if you remember that place.

Yes! My favorite thing as a kid was the Merry Go Round there, my late grandmother used to bring me there every weekend.

Then I went there years later and saw it gone it was sad.

When I moved to SD I only knew one person here, and no family. And I've traveled a lot.
