Thank you everyone, for rightfully recognizing this prediction as the best of the year.

This election made fools out of many people in this country, and on this board. Even on the eve of the election, the consensus was that Hillary was going to be our next President and that Trump would suffer a humiliating defeat. Thankfully, I have a very good understanding of American politics, and more importantly, a great feel for the mood of the American people.

It certainly was not a perfect prediction. I underestimated the level of cheating that the Democrats would be able to pull off in Nevada for one. The exact level of influence that corrupt Harry Reid and the labor unions made up of illegal immigrants have in Nevada is tough to measure. I also did not think that Trump would be able to do as well as he did in the state of Wisconsin since they keep electing mega-cuck Paul Ryan. Cheeseheads seem to have a collective bi-polar thing going on. Other than that though, I got it pretty darn close.

Perhaps more impressively, not a single category resulted in a tie - a remarkable testament to the unbiased nature of our awards this year. Thanks to you, no biased, psychopath loser was able to decide tiebreakers for himself, list disrespectful categories/nominations, or disrupt the celebratory nature of our awards in any way. 2016 was a wonderful year on AngerGeneral - it's only fitting that our awards have been equally as wonderful!

This award is another wonderful honor.

After the great exodus from ESPN, this community struggled to find a permanent home before we settled here. There were many issues and disagreements about how best to keep everything together and maintain order, but we have maintained stability here for going on three years. After some growing pains and a handful of miscreants who needed to be dealt with, we now have a community where members can speak more freely and openly than on almost any other site on the internet.

That's due in no small part to the staff here collectively (who this award is dedicated to), and of course, the rules:

Wow what an honor it is to be selected for this award. I truly appreciate all of you and I am happy to be a part of such a small but awesome community such as AngerGeneral. We truly are a bunch of misfits but it works.

Yet I return. Again and again. Maybe it's because I'm just as fucked up as many of you. We're all fucked-up in the head a little bit. (To be fair, not dumb as deez or anything) We're all bored to the point where we'll spend too much time here instead of other more fruitful pursuits (To be fair, not like SugarTits Artman). And we're all a bit desperate for camaraderie and a need to be included (To be fair, not like a desperate ex-pat drug addict in Korea).

We all have vices. Flaws. But there's something redeemable in there every once in awhile. Glimmers of hope. Smarts. Wit. Passion. Humor. Just like any fucked-up family.
