FPLIII
What did you think of the Pats/Broncos game today?
Re: FPLIII
Excellent game management from Peyton.Ghostown42 wrote:What did you think of the Pats/Broncos game today?
In all seriousness though, he had a good game (again, I'm not a hater, just think Brady is better). I think he has a great receiving corps, but he hasn't been especially blessed with one throughout his career (luckier than Brady, though the Pats defenses were better). I watched from the local racetrack/casino, had a few drinks, and enjoyed it.
I'm sure the SB between Denver and the winner here will be a good one. Will be interesting if it's super cold.

So why is this considered just a "good game" for Manning, when he puts up better numbers today than Brady ever has in the playoffs?fpliii wrote:Excellent game management from Peyton.Ghostown42 wrote:What did you think of the Pats/Broncos game today?

Also, I think precipitation and wind are more important when discussing weather in a football game than cold.

It's a great system they have there. I didn't mean to use "good" as a negative qualifier BTW, I'm not even aware of the numbers. Just my impression from watching.Ghostown42 wrote:So why is this considered just a "good game" for Manning, when he puts up better numbers today than Brady ever has in the playoffs?fpliii wrote:Excellent game management from Peyton.Ghostown42 wrote:What did you think of the Pats/Broncos game today?

Oh...does Brady NOT have a great system?fpliii wrote:It's a great system they have there. I didn't mean to use "good" as a negative qualifier BTW, I'm not even aware of the numbers. Seems like you didn't watch the game very closely. Manning had 400 yards, with 2 TDs (shoulda been 3, but a receiver dropped one).
Brady has never beaten Peyton on the road in the playoffs. Why does Peyton get knocked for that type of crap, but Brady doesn't?
Re: FPLIII
idk man, ask me another day when I've had a chance to review the game and the numbers. Maybe I wasn't watching as closely as I could've, but I walked away thinking it was a good, solid game from PManning. Just my impression.Ghostown42 wrote:Oh...does Brady NOT have a great system?fpliii wrote:It's a great system they have there. Alright, after you've had a chance to review the game, let me know if you think it was better than a "good solid game."fpliii wrote:idk man, ask me another day when I've had a chance to review the game and the numbers.
