In all those cases, we are making fun of the person directly, not by going through another human being.

"Bitches be crazy" is obviously different than "Bush's wife is crazy", because there is a general understanding that humor is found through exaggeration and generalization and as such allows people outs (i.e.-"yeah bitches be crazy...thank God I caught one of the good ones"), whereas the later statement does not, even if the later would logically follow from the former taken literally and at face value.

That being said, it's not moving my needle at all. I can count one on one hand the number of times I've been legit pissed off at someone online at ESPN or here over the last 10 years.

No it's not. It's not a big thing. I've noticed it with Cleve and lately with Deez and it bugs me so I said it bugs me.

Like I said, I really wish we could be above it. Nobody's wife deserves to be called fat and ugly online by strangers because their husband has acted a fool.
