1. LeBron. Best player on the best team. 24 ppg, 10 apg, 8rpg, 50% fg, 37% 3pt.
2-5. Who cares.

Kawhi is building a legit argument this year. But I agree with your assessment; Lebron is the best player on the best team. It's his trophy to lose, IMO.vegasfraud wrote:1. LeBron. Best player on the best team. 24 ppg, 10 apg, 8rpg, 50% fg, 37% 3pt.

The two best candidates. If either won, I'd be good with it.americaninfidel wrote:Kawhi is building a legit argument this year. Re: TOP 5 MVP candidates
why the fuck are you people awarding lebron league mvp because the league rigged a title for him last year
and those finals stats didn't carry either
hes averaging only 23 points a game... he'd need to average 12-13 assists with that kind of scoring to be league mvp

Re: TOP 5 MVP candidates
Lebron has been coasting offensively while trying to get Kevin Love involve (which is working) and is still the MVP.
Once Lebron turns up his offense it's a wrap. He'll finish the season putting up 26/10/8 on 54% shooting. MVP #5 already in the mail.

Jimmy Buckets is right-there with anyone: 26-7-4 /49%/43%/89% / All World Defense... Bulls tied for #2 seed when all the 'experts' predicted 38-40 wins.
"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."
"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

In the unlikely event the Clippers finish with the first seed in the west, CP3 should be a definite candidate.

Re: TOP 5 MVP candidates
Honestly, I'd prefer LeBron to be out of the MVP running by March. I don't really want him chasing a regular season award at the expense of added rest down the stretch. I just put him first because griff is obsessed and it angers him.americaninfidel wrote:Kawhi is building a legit argument this year. Curry won his first mvp averaging 23.7ppg 2 years ago.

Re: TOP 5 MVP candidates
Lebron, Kawhi, CP3, Curry/Durant are the only ones with a realistic shot.
You need to at least be top 3 in either conference and have great numbers to get it which probably eliminates everyone else besides those few.

Westbrook/kawhi/durant = only legit shot at mvp
No way lebrons 1 more assist make up for losing a ton of scoring
