Robert Muller says Michael Flynn should get no prison time because of the 'substantial assistance' he has provided in the Russia probe.
The special counsel said in a sentencing memo released on Tuesday night that Trump's national security adviser and the retired U.S. Army lieutenant general participated in 19 interviews with prosecutors and has helped in several criminal investigations.
Two of the cases he helped with were separate to the Russia investigation, large parts of the document were redacted and the full extent of Flynn's assistance was not revealed, suggesting that Mueller's work is far from over.
Mueller's office says Flynn gave them 'firsthand information about the content and context of interactions between the (Trump) transition team and Russian government officials', before they took office.
The prosecutors haven't asked for no jail time in any of the other cases connected to the Russia investigation.
Mueller's office did praise Flynn's character, saying his 'record of military and public service distinguish him from every other person who has been charged as part the investigation'.

Sweet....by the time any impeachment hearing clears the house and rejected by the senate, Trump's 2nd term should be nearing its end anyway and the House dems (assuming they hold any power by then), along with the adorable Madnesss/Artman couple on AG will have nothing but the sweet taste of cake on their face as the R's look to seat a new MAGA candidate into the 2024 Oval Office.
Trump will go down as the start of a movement history will one day view as the moment America as we know it was saved. And every move you guys make that backfires further solidifies this. You guys are so far down the wrong rabbithole it's comical.
