Lol. I wish this gave me more confidence. In theory Rafa should take it, he had nearly beaten Nole on indoor grass and Arthur Ashe is about as bouncy as hard courts get, but I can't help but feel nervous.

I rewatched the Fed/Roddick Wimbledon. It is so impressive how Federer and Nadal are still going at it and how many of their peers are long since retired. They have dominated 2 eras of tennis.

Novak has earned a seat at the table. Even if his slam count falls short right now, he has bitch slapped Fedal enough and has an impressive enough resume to be in the conversation. In my opinion the three are the greatest to ever play.

#1 Seed, Halep, drops in 2 sets; 6:2, 6:4.
Ouch.

Grigor taking another first round beating from Stan lol. Stan looks so good. He is beyond 'darkhorse' contender now. Fitness clearly coming along in addition to the bombs he was unleashing in Cincinnati and Toronto.

Is the ump who coached Kyrgios out of his mind? He should never officiate an ATP match again, although I'm sure he will thanks to his track record to date. Can you imagine Joe West heading out to the mound to try to pump up John Rocker lol?

Pete dominated an era all to himself, and on two different surfaces not just one like Rafa. You can't dismiss that. Obvi not winning the French hurts him.Kobeunderbite wrote:Incognito wrote:I rewatched the Fed/Roddick Wimbledon.
