LA would be an ideal fit for LeSissy and his man-purses.
But there's no chance he goes to the Lakers because a) they play in the WC and b) they have no chance to beat GS or Houston (or even NO with a healthy Cousins) with this Lakers team... hell, even a healthy Minnesota team would beat them.

Can't teams go over the salary cap but have to pay a boatload of extra in luxury tax for each dollar over the cap they are?

Also the luxury tax threshold is higher than the salary cap. Salary cap is the problem right now for Lakers.
