Please do. It's a pretty eye opening video that I hope you will appreciate.
I can already guarantee it won't prevent me from watching any more porn. Especially since today's Thursday... Today's Threesome Day! :D

Not trying to act holier-than-thou but you should really look into the long-term effects of watching porn on a regular basis. The video I posted is a good start and can hopefully scare you into further research because it's something that you should take seriously. We weren't programmed or built to "get off" because of what we're seeing on a screen on-demand.

Would you agree that onanists have been getting pleasure from visual stimuli before the advent of online pornography ?

I sometimes think porn is a big evolutionary test...people who buffer themselves against rejection with porn and/or use porn as a way to reach satisfaction without a woman are much less likely to pass their genes than those that go out, fail, try again, and eventually succeed (usually).

It's basically a big shiny lure to try and push you towards an evolutionary dead-end by messing with your brain and keeping you apart from (real) sexual conquest.

You should look up how porn affects men's perceptions of women and the unrealistic expectations of what a relationship should consist of. It's pretty crazy.

To be fair I've went out and failed plenty of times in the real world. Porn is for weekdays. Actual women is for the weekends. It's not like I never get laid.

Of course. However (and the man in the video explains this better than I do) a lot of the problem with watching pornography is that the brain becomes more and more bored or dissatisfied with normal sexual stimuli and needs more and more advanced and depraved stimulation in order to feel any real pleasure.

You're also essentially reprogramming your brain to expect to get excited at what it is seeing on a screen as opposed to real life experiences. I'm not describing this very eloquently but I think most people will get the idea.

I've gone through long periods of watching too much porn and through periods where I never watch porn.

I agree that ultimately it's an unhealthy and even just a little bit of porn consumption is not good for you. I still use it a couple times a week even though I feel like I shouldn't.

You want to get real creepy, look up the lives of most serial killers and you'll see that they progressed through all the pornographic deviance they could and the only thing that could satisfy that itch or desire was to kill.

Not saying that everyone that watches porn will turn into serial killers but it plays a significant role.

Just look at Griff. Even he mentions that he has to look at seriously disturbing porn to get off anymore.

Well, they did find pornographic images in the ruins of Pompeii.

My opinion is thus-any activity that interferes with your life and how you relate to your fellow humans is probably not good for you.

I belive you. You know your life better than I do obviously.

But it still has the same effect on your brain, even if it's in lesser amounts.

You are spending roughly 29 percent of your time on the good stuff, and 71 percent on the bad stuff.

That imbalance over years and years and years probably is something to think about, at least.

I thought of Griff, too. And I think madness is in or near that category. Neither will ever be happy in a real relationship because of what porn has done to their brains.

Loved the action so much he sought and found employment at an adult book store. He regaled us with his experiences there on the old ESPN board.

But it doesn't effect the way I think about relationships or women like you and KUB have said....and it's not like I'm into chicks pouring hot wax onto each other or some shit. The craziest shit I get into is threesomes (not devil's). It even weirds me out when they have masks on and shit.
