Florida House declares porn a public health risk

Post by LeBronMonsterDunk »

Florida lawmakers on Tuesday passed a resolution declaring pornography a public health risk, less than an hour after they rejected a motion to consider a bill that would ban assault rifles.

The Florida House of Representatives opened its Tuesday session with a motion to debate a bill banning assault rifles, which it rejected by a 36-71 vote within three minutes, according to The Washington Post.

In the same session, less than an hour later, according to the newspaper, the legislature considered a GOP-backed bill to declare porn a public health risk, which it passed by a voice vote.

Not even trolling here Clevey, but just think of how much more miserable you would be in Korea with a wife who rarely has sex with you if you couldn't spank it to porn?

I would like to see the health risks they list. Pornography has some pretty damaging effects on a person. There are studies that show that pornography can be just as addictive as some hardcore drugs.

Sorta related, but they say giving kids phones/tablets is more addicting to them than opiates.

I can see it. We had this conversation with my 10 year old last night. She's really upset we won't give her a phone. I say 10 is WAY too young to have a phone or be on social media. There are just WAY too many predators out there and I don't think she old enough or mature enough to recognize a predator. I told her that and asked her to trust me for the time being.

Why are there so many parents giving phones to their 10 year olds?

I don't recall the show, but I saw it the other night. There was a 15 and 17 year old girl who were at the airport flying from LA to NY to meet a guy they met on Instagram. They thought he was flying them out to do some modeling for the weekend then flying them home. Turns out it was a 1 way ticket and the guy was actually a sex trafficker and the ticket was a 1 way. They of course told their parents they were staying at each others houses.

The Airline desk lady noticed it seemed fishy these 2 young girls had first class 1 way tickets with no ID's, etc. Luckily they were "saved".
But I can't imagine raising kids in this environment right now

Can my one hidden folder on my laptop be grandfathered in?

It has that scene where the girl was about to lose her college scholarship because of a failing grade, and the Professor was willing to offer her a way out (with his cock).

I don't want to lose that one.

delete it all. its the only way to beat the cultural marxists at their own game.
its amazing though that liberals see the right to porn in the first amendment, and the right to gun control in the second amendment.

There's too much evil online and I don't want my kids in there alone until I can talk to them and teach them the dangers and how to protect themselves.

I read an article that scared the piss out of me with raising daughters. It was from a single dad who lost his daughter to a predator and how much crap he's had to go through. His daughter basically "fell for" a much older, predatory man on social media. The guy had abused her but since the girl thought she loved him. Long story short, this dad almost went to jail for attacking and wanting to kill this guy, meanwhile his daughter supported the predator. He lost her to him. It was a sad story that started because he gave his daughter a cell phone too early.

Do you at least give your daughter a basic "dumb" phone with call functionality? How do you deal with the perversion and degeneracy that your kids probably encounter at school? Do they go to a private school?

Porn is most definitely a public health risk. It should be illegal.

There are lots of Parental Control Apps these days to help you to monitor what they're doing.

But, your kids will dislike that greatly.

Would Carl put a camera and filter in his daughter like in that Black Mirror episode from this season?
