It's a noble attempt Abe, but I'm just UNtrollable on this subject.

Federer has reached the rarefied air of LeBron, Tom Brady, etc. who are just too remarkable for me to actively root against. I'm a very big believer in NOT being a sour puss who roots against athletes more passionately than they root for athletes (ie da stars, TDK). It's fun to a degree, but when someone just keeps raising the bar of greatness, they transcend pettiness and trolling in my eyes.

I am glad that Chung is finally giving us some grand slam break through from the next gen. I'm still looking for my next 'guy' in the sport, Shapovalov is easily the favorite for that position due to his Israeli roots and incredible promise but nothing is set in stone.

I was the same way with Jordan... and James.

They're just too good, so any attempts to diminish their greatness comes off as hack trolling.

I'm not too crazy about the mens field to be honest...

Looking forward to the G.O.A.T Serena returning though.

A few years back when Roger surpassed Pete for most GS’s, I said if he wins a couple more I would be happy. For him to be at the door of 20 and at the age of 36, I applaud you, Roger. You are simply an inspiration.

Funny that Federer is still so obviously winning this match but the crowd has been scared into near silence.

I thought Roger was done, especially with the way Marin was playing in the first game of the fifth.

Thank you, Fed!

Very predictable ultimate result, I thought that Federer would win in 3 when they announced that the roof would be closed.

This one could have been over in 3 had Roger not missed the line by 1/16th of an inch in 2.
