I'm trying to see your point here and I don't think there is one.
numbers are numbers, he slumped and hit his way out of the slump for a season finish of superior numbers across the stat sheet.
oh, and his homerun in the WC game alone is the reason the Yankees will be heading to the world series next week.

Then you're being biased or blind. Simple as that.
He's GREAT, was great this season on whole, no question, I mean he did this as a rookie.
That said, MUCH more to the game than just walks and homers....he isn't well above average at any of it to this point, and he's 25.
He's also is hitting .200 with a post season record tying amount of K's BTW.
Carry on.

Agreed. He isn't worthy of carrying Mike Trouts jock strap as an OVERALL player yet. Period.

If you think that he is you are just being a Homer, judge isn't close to being the best player.Repeat3peat wrote:Shill Jackson wrote:xxx wrote:

I'm agreeing with that (your sentiment, shocking I know...lol)....it's not remotely close IMO. He isn't even as good as Stanton yet, and HE isn't even close.

his defense has been terrific.
not to mention, despite his strikeout woes, he's still hitting 385 WRISP.
