WoW

Nice to have a WS under the belt last year, and sit back and enjoy "nerve" free.

Good stuff.

well even though I'd rather advanced here, a game 7 is always awesome no matter what.

Aaron Judge is the greatest player in baseball.

15 year, $1,000,000,000.00 contract looms.

He's great, prodigious power, great eye (Tho he gets hosed on low strikes WAAY too often and the umps need to get their shit together on that IMO) ....but he isn't even in the discussion for "best player" right now.

6-1 should seal the deal. Game 7 on it's way.

Why waste ANY Giles "bullets" in this game...whether he warmed up "anyway" or not..??

Dumb...with game 7 looming IMO, NO reason to give them any extra looks at him the night before either.

The BEST player in baseball don't have entire months where they hit .185 with 3 homers and a .680 OPS, with a 41-23 k/bb ratio in 93 at bats.... when that is where the VAST majority of their value lies...He's no "great shakes" in any other part of the game IMO.

He's in only his 2nd season, but is 25 already....don't mean there isn't time for sure...and as acknowledged (and why I wish they would do away with human error/bias in the calling of balls and strikes) he gets HOSED on more BS low strikes called on him because of his massive frame than maybe anyone else in baseball, and given a proper zone, and knowing he WILL be getting that zone...maybe he does become the biggest offensive beast in baseball BAR none.

Not ripping him at all.

so despite his horrible slump he still managed to lead the league in HR, BB, 128 runs 114 RBI... all while having a significantly larger strike zone.

oh and he's quite a decent fielder, perhaps you've noticed.

Decent yes....nothing special, there or anywhere else.

ELITE Power hitter with a good eye, that gets pitched around a lot does not the best player in the league make...He had a MONSTER first half...the pitching adjusted and the 2nd half overall (not just that 1 slump) not so much...or in the playoffs.

Stanton BEASTED as well, has in the past, has had HORRID years as well...he isn't anything close to the best player in the game either.

Again. IMO.
