Kobe could never run amok on Leonard. Lebron with all his size got frustrated.

Kobe used Bowen and Jackson as toilet paper and would do the same with Leonard.

The Lakers won in 2001 by 4-0 and in 2002 by 4-1.

Does Kawhi make up that much ground? Doubtful.

If the deficit were 10+ a game I'd say doubtful but seeing that nearly every game was close like it was in 02... I'd say its probable.

In 2001, there was no Bruce Bowen and because of injury, Antonio Daniels ended up guarding Kobe. Antonio Daniels, a former Grizz was defensively challenged and not much on the other end either. I think a prime Kawhi makes a huge difference in that series and at least makes it interesting. Lakers might still win, but it's one helluva lot more interesting.
