The moral of the story here is that the East really sucks. The first 5 are locks and should all be pretty good teams. The battle for the final 3 seeds should be a battle between some really average to bad teams. I'm tempted to pick the 76ers but they are still extremely young and I'm not sure they can stay healthy. However since it won't take a whole lot of wins to get into the playoffs they could very easily sneak in. Only teams that I don't think have a chance are the Nets and Knicks.

Jazz
Pelicans

West is tough. First 5 should be locks. Next 3 are tough. I really want to put the Nuggets in but I question their guard play. Jazz might be a surprise inclusion but I believe their defense could be the best in the league. Offense doesn't have to be that great to win some games (scoring will be a struggle though). The Nuggets, Grizzlies, or Clippers could easily make it over either of those 3 teams.

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie, Desmond Mason, & Rasho Nesterovic were still active players the last time Marshlando won a playoff series.
