Now that Durant has established himself as the best player

Post by thedangerouskitchen »

...in the game, how soon will it be before the media / fans start comparing him to Jordan?

"25/5/8, 48%, no lower than top-2 in MVP voting"

-TDK's Derek Rose 2013-14 prediction.

Rose is injured and this thread is about Durant, fool. Please stay focused on the topic and stop trolling.

(On a side note, what is it with LeTots and former Kobe Slobbers that they always deflect?)

The fact that he's got a BB IQ of a grapefruit, and therefore cannot participate in these sort of discussions without coming across as an idiot... so instead he deflects???

Why haven't you started any Rose threads? You made them all the time when he was hurt last season.

Rose is injured and not returning this year, where as last year he was supposed to return. Are you that stupid that you can't figure it out??

Now... back to the topic of the thread.

Bulls fans say he could return this season... seems like he may even have a BETTER chance to return this season than he did last season.

Yet you are silent... hmmm....

Durant's suddenly the top player in the game because he strung together a few great scoring games in the middle of the season, huh. Cool. Now all he has to do is when when it matters more (aka the playoffs). And let's not use the tired out "the West is too tough" shtick. If he's the best in the game he needs to be able to beat these teams, plain and simple. Especially if you want to compare him to Jordan, because he had to.

MJ comparisons come after he wins MVP this year and next. He'll probably win a title this year if Westbook can return to form.

He has many many MVPs and finals to sniff Jordan comparisons

Based on what...? Team record / success AND individual performance both favor Durant.

This season for Durant yes but that's it. Oberon has achieved more success all around and is still the best

that is double talk! Right now Durant is the best and the MVP
Nobody is talking about careers
Lebron is NOT better all around this season which is the subject at hand!

The Heat are 24-2 against the West in their last twenty six games and 12-2 this year,,,Do the math, if they were in the West they would win 75 games.

I don't think they would win 75 games in the West but the West has nothing on the Miami Heat.

Same could have been said about LeBron. He was wayyy more overhyped than Durant and called the best player in the game. Yet he still couldn't get the job done.

Comparing him to MJ is a complete joke
