I've rarely been so happy with a sports result than I am with this US Open final result. Love you Stan. That was an awesome performance, and what a way to keep his composure when Djokovic abused the system with those medical timeouts.

In mountain biking there is a DIY tubeless tire latex sealant kit called Stan's No Tubes.
Over time the latex combines with dirt and rocks in the tire. The result are nicknamed Stanimals.

Why have hate for an athlete, barring they haven't done some crazy off the field stuff? There are exceptions, but in the case of Djokovic or Nadal I dont understand. If you hate their game, fine. But Kevin seems to make it personal. Maybe it's just something I can't understand because as much as I love sports, in the end it's just sports and I don't know these people.

There seems to be a fine line between bringing it up in discussions and harping on hated players to the point of odd obsession.

I would say just keep it normal and call him "Beast" but Beast Simmons has that nickname locked up.

I don't hate Nadal and don't hate Djokovic either. But I do think he's taken advantage of a weak couple years and especially at this year's open. Which is why I was glad Stan beat him, especially in light of Djokovic's BLATANT gamesmanship and abuse of the rules.
